4 NEW SETS ADDED! Aeneas (R2), Julie, Emma (R2) and Marilyn

What's up everyone! I'm back with 4 new sets, two of them returning models, and the other two new! I feel so bad, again due to my laziness, I did not blog about these shoots sooner! So here is a quick recap of all four of these latest photoshoots!

AENEAS: You guys remember Aeneas? If not, click HERE for our first shoot. Aeneas is a really cool girl, and our first shoot was stinted due to it being done hella late at night, and due to a fruit fly infestation at her place that threw us both off. LOL. She of course, we had to have a second round. This time, we took it to an awesome hotel called The Line over in the Koreatown of DTLA. Really awesome room, with a grand view of the Hollywood Hills. Had a pretty good shoot, but I was having some stomach problems so it was pretty difficult. But it's all good fun! Aeneas definitely improved from our first shoot (which occurred about a month prior) and we had some awesome shots. After, we ate at POT, a delicious hot pot restaurant in the hotel!

JULIE: Let me start this one with her message to me:

"So I contacted you awhile back to shoot, but at that time it wasn't possible because I was living in a college dorm where the opposite sex was not allowed. Well now that I'm no longer living under that kind of bullshit environment I was wondering if you were interested in shooting!"

Now this is what I'm talking about! Apparently, me and Julie first made contact years back over on Model Mayhem, but never got to shoot due to living circumstances. To be honest, I totally forgot because I pretty fell off of the MM world since Instagram pretty much took over for networking. But the fact that shooting with me has been on her mind for over a year made me feel pretty special/cool haha. Sounds lame...but it's true!

Anyways, I met her up at her place in Rowland Heights. Really cool person, and really pretty in person. She was down to earth with and there was never a dull moment during our shoot. Shooting on a trampoline is fun. haha!

EMMA: The RETURN of Emma! So glad we got to shoot again. If you haven't seen our first shoot, check it out HERE. She is one of my most popular models, and for very good reasons. We met up at her new place, chopped it up a little bit and got straight to shooting. I mentioned in the gallery write up of how awesome Emma is because of how comfortable she is with herself and me. To warm up, she wanted to start with some minimal attire on, and literally after 1 "warm-up" shot, she took em off. I guess some people are more comfortable naked? Nothing for me to complain about really! Haha anyways, this time around, I primarily shot her in Black and White, and the results were pretty exhilarating. And again, I got some fantastic split shots with her. Emma, you are the shit! Thanks again!

MARILYN: This girl is the shit! First off, check out her stuff HERE. This girl is literally IG famous with a huge following and for good reason. She has shot with the likes of big names like Tianna Gregory! What a dream that would be to shoot someone of that calibur...so why not start with the actual person in charge of that? So, again, I met Marilyn a couple years back because she photographed an event that me and my friend ran. I saw that she started modeling a bit, so I asked her if she was down to shoot with me! And voila! A week later we were at it. She was super cool to work with, very energetic and willing to due whatever came to mind....hers and mine haha. Being a photographer herself, she had very clear visions and ideas for the shoot, and we got some pretty dope results. She was asking for direction if needed, but she was already well off, especially because of all her experience as a photog herself! Keep at it Marilyn, you were great!

INFESTATION! My shoot with Aeneas.

Hello everyone! As promised, I am here with a post-photoshoot blog entry, and what other way to start it than with the aforementioned, Aeneas!

After trouble with an initial shoot date, we rescheduled for the night of Thursday, July 17th. I got to her place around 11pm (this late because I had to close up shop at work), and we got right to it. She was very welcoming, and very engaging to talk to, which was awesome since this was the first time we actually met. Got to know each other for a little bit, had a glass of red wine, and jumped right into it.

We were both fueled by our shared interest of Japanese photographer YONE (Yasumasa Yonehara) and Japanese model, Lena Fujii, to kind of inspire our shoot a little. With her being Half Japanese, and my profound interest in Japanese culture, we hit it off easily.

But all wasn't so well....

Early during the shoot, we noticed a bunch of fruit flies! She had not really seen them before, so she was freaking out a bit! I gave her the whole run down on how they came into her condo and that they would eventually go away, so she calmed down a little. It was actually pretty entertaining how jittery she was because of them. Anyways, the shoot went on!

We had a couple outfits going, and we were just burning through film like nothing. She was a joy to work with, and really really fun. It was getting real late, and we were both tired, so at around 3 am, we wrapped it up. We got some great images, but I know that a bug-free shoot for our next time together would result in even more awesome shots! Check out her full set in my Portfolio page! THANKS!

HIATUS IS OVER!

Hey guys! First of all, sorry in general for not blogging as much as I should! Second of all, I'm sorry for not blogging about each of my specific shoots with my models! I promise I will do that from now on, starting with my most recently shot model, Aeneas!

But let's get straight to the point of this post. I'm back from my little Summer Getaway/Vacation Hiatus! I had a couple of big events I attended: EDC in Las Vegas, and shortly after that, Anime Expo in LA. Both were extremely fun, tiring, and a big blow to my wallet. But now that that's all said and done, I'm back and ready for action!
